She is designed by the distinguished Rob Humphreys and is provided with the German Lloyd GL Plus Certification. The lines of the Elan Impression 514 are streamlined and elegant with luxurious touches throughout. The semi deck saloon opens into a magnificent space with overhead and side panoramic windows welcoming in plenty of natural light and excellent views. TREATON has a keel-stepped mast, and a powerful hull infused with the latest 3-D technology, with an isophthalic gelcoat finish. The hull is molded in a one step process with Elan’s highly advanced technology based on vacuum - assisted lamination, which improves the mechanical properties of the hull up to 50%. The injection - molded deck is cored with discontinuous balsa panels. The ballast keel is cast iron encapsulated in epoxy. A brand new (mod. 2023) Yanmar 4JH110 common rail engine pushes TREATON at about nine knots at 2400 rpm with truly little noise or vibration, while improving the boat’s environmental footprint as well. Under power, she maneuvers like a yacht. The large three - bladed folding prop and the powerful bow thruster make backing out of the slip a highly controlled affair. The extensive open cockpit area provides ample space and excellent comfort. The aft door opens easily serving as a large swimming platform and additional entertainment area.
