Een typisch dagcharter... Ontmoet elkaar in Chichester Marina bij het Boat House Café. Uw schipper zal u ontmoeten en u naar de boot leiden waar u rondgeleid wordt en een veiligheidsbriefing krijgt. Meestal verlaten we de kade rond 11.00 uur en rijden we door de haven van Chichester en vervolgens de Solent in langs de historische forten. Vervolgens steken we de Solent over naar Gunwharf Quays of West Cowes, aangezien beide havens bij elk tij toegankelijk zijn. We arriveren rond 13.30 uur op onze bestemming, waar iedereen aan wal kan gaan om de omgeving te verkennen en te lunchen en te drinken. Normaal gesproken streven we ernaar om rond 16.30 uur terug te zijn in Chichester Marina. Als u uw avond hier wilt voortzetten, is het Boathouse Café een geweldige plek en er zijn ook verschillende andere pubs en restaurants in de buurt. Wat u mee moet nemen: Als u aan boord van drankjes of eten wilt genieten, kunt u uw eigen benodigdheden meenemen. Er is een Tesco-express in Gun Wharf Quays en Co-op in Cowes als u deze liever ter plaatse koopt. Deze boot ligt zeer goed beschut, maar op zee kan het vaak afkoelen, dus zorg ervoor dat u warme kleding meeneemt. Zonnebrandcrème is ook een goed idee als het mooi weer is. Powered by twin Volvo Penta 575hp inboard engines - Hendricks is able to tackle any weather conditions and feels smooth even if its a little rough in the Solent. A Typical Day Charter... Meet at Chichester Marina by the Boat House Café. Your skipper will meet you and lead you down to the boat where you are shown around and given a safety briefing. Typically, we leave the dock by around 11:00am and motor out though Chichester harbour and then into the Solent past the historic forts. Next, we head across the Solent to Gunwharf Quays or West Cowes as both harbours are accessible at any state of tide. We arrive at our destination around 1:30pm where everyone can head ashore to explore and have lunch and drinks. It is worth booking somewhere for lunch, there are loads of great restaurants. West Cowes: The Coast Bar - British and Seafood, The Basque Kitchen - Mediterranean food. Gunwharf Quays: There are loads of great restaurants available here. Around 2:00pm if the weather is good we can head to Osbourne bay or East head where we anchor up. This is a great spot for people to relax and go for a swim or just have a drink on board. Next, we set off back to Chichester Marina. Typically, we aim to get back to Chichester Marina for around 4:30pm. If you wish to continue your evening here then there the Boathouse Café is a great spot and there are several other pubs and restaurants nearby too. What you need to bring with you: If you would like to enjoy drinks or food onboard, you are welcome to bring your own supplies with you. There is a Tesco express in Gun Wharf Quays and Co-op in Cowes if you would rather buy this on site. This boat is very well sheltered, but it can often get cool at sea so please make sure you bring warm clothes. Sun cream is also a good idea if the weather is looking good. Please ensure you wear non-marking flat soled shoes suitable for moving around on the boat whilst underway.
